At EPnP Medical, our EMS combine proven processes with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.
In panel assembly, we use SMD and THT placement to ensure consistent, high-volume production. Laser cutting enables precise depaneling while protecting even sensitive printed circuit boards.
To ensure superior solder joint quality and thermal and electrical stability, we use vacuum vapor-phase systems that minimize void formation and result in exceptionally low void rates. We also use selective soldering to integrate individual components with precision and care.
With conformal coating, we protect assemblies against moisture, dust, and corrosion using protective lacquers and potting compounds.
Assembly services complete our portfolio. Modules are efficiently assembled and tested to ensure long-term reliability.

Testing and quality assurance in EMS at EPnP Medical are not just final steps but rather integral parts of the entire process.
Starting at the layout stage, we evaluate production feasibility and develop customized test concepts. During production, state-of-the-art processes safeguard every detail: automated optical inspection (2D/3D AOI), solder paste and X-ray inspection, in-circuit and boundary scan testing. These are complemented by functional tests, end-of-line inspections, and environmental stress testing.
For complex requirements, we offer run-in and burn-in procedures along with the microscopic and endoscopic inspection of individual solder joints. Vacuum vapor phase soldering enables exceptionally low void rates, a critical quality factor for thermal and electrical stability. All processes are fully traceable and documented to ensure safety, transparency, and trust.
